Pneumon is a single-blind peer-reviewed online-only open-access journal published in English. The journal, since 1987, publishes original papers of international interest on laboratory and clinical research that are pertinent to lung biology and disease. Clinical and experimental work dealing with the whole field of pulmonology, including allied health, cell and molecular biology, epidemiology, immunology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, intensive and critical care, paediatric respiratory medicine and thoracic surgery are within the scope of the journal.
