Partnership with Scientific Societies

We publish our journals in close collaboration with scientific bodies and associations. These partnerships allow open-access publishing to serve the academic and stakeholder communities of grass-roots researchers and regional policymakers. Partnering societies have a dedicated Publications Manager responsible for daily communication with the Editor in Chief and the society’s governing board.

Tobacco Prevention Cessation is published in close collaboration with ENSP, the European Network For Smoking and Tobacco Prevention – a non for profit entity that was created under Belgian law in 1997. ENSP, in its 20-year history, has experience in the publication of monographs related to tobacco prevention and guidelines for aiding smoking cessation.

Tobacco Induced Diseases is published in close collaboration with the International Society for the Prevention of Tobacco Induced Diseases, a non for profit entity registered under European law.

The European Journal of Midwifery is supported by 12 European Associations and Societies: the Hellenic Midwives Association, the European Midwives Association, the Belgian Midwives Association, the Czech Chamber of Midwives, the Midwives Association of Romania, the Spanish Association of Midwives, the Catalan Association of Midwives, the Austrian Midwives Association, the Royal Dutch Organization of Midwives, the German Society for Midwifery Science, the Lithuanian Midwives Union and the College of French Midwives. These associations have provided auspices and support this initiative.

Pneumon is published under the auspices of the Hellenic Thoracic Society, since 1987.

Population Medicine closely collaborates with the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) and has facilitated the publication of numerous editorials and the abstract book of the 2023 World Conference on Public Health. In May 2023, over 3,000 public health professionals and researchers, policymakers, and students convened in Rome, Italy, for the 17th World Congress on Public Health, a momentous event organised by the WFPHA in association with the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER). Notably, WFPHA is recognized as an NGO in official relations status with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Public Health and Toxicology, is the official media partner of Eurotox, The Federation of European Toxicologists & European Societies of Toxicology. The journal is also the official journal of the Hellenic Society of Toxicology, Greece.
